How Helmcode handles personal data on this website. Minimal by default.
Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Helmcode S.L. ("Helmcode") processes personal data in connection with its website at helmcode.com.
Data controller: Helmcode S.L., NIF B44788511, with registered address at Avenida Quinto Centenario, 27, 38683 Santiago del Teide, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain. For any privacy matter, you can reach us at info@helmcode.com.
What data we collect
We keep data collection to a minimum and do not collect personal data directly through this website, except when you choose to give it to us:
- Contact form, when you write to us, we process the name, company and work email you submit, in order to reply and follow up.
- Bookings, if you schedule a call, our scheduling provider processes the name and email you give it.
- Newsletter, if you subscribe to undefined_, we process your name, your email address, your preferred language and the evidence of your consent (date, time, IP address and the version of the text you accepted), so we can send you two emails a month and demonstrate that you gave us permission.
We process this data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to you, and we keep it only for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and meet our record-keeping obligations.
The newsletter is processed solely on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email, without giving any reason. We keep your data for as long as you remain subscribed; if you unsubscribe, we keep your address on a suppression list for the sole purpose of not writing to you again.
Third-party services
- Calendly, when you book a call, it processes your booking details (name, email) under its own privacy policy.
- Resend, the provider we use to send the undefined_ newsletter. It stores your name, your email address and your consent evidence, and handles unsubscribes. It is a US company: see "International transfers".
International transfers
Some of the providers we use on this website are established in the United States, which means your data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Specifically: Resend (newsletter) and Calendly (bookings).
These transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission adopted an adequacy decision in July 2023, and on the standard contractual clauses included in the data processing agreements we have signed with each provider.
Data on the Helmcode inference platform is not affected: it is processed exclusively in the EU, as explained below.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can access, rectify, delete, object to the processing of, or request portability of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email info@helmcode.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
Where processing is based on your consent, as it is for the newsletter, you can withdraw it at any time and as easily as you gave it: there is an unsubscribe link in every email we send you. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
Security
The website uses HTTPS to encrypt all communication between your browser and our servers.
The Helmcode platform
This policy covers our website. Use of the Helmcode inference platform is governed by the specific terms and data processing agreement entered into with each customer, under which we keep zero logs of inference content and process data exclusively in the EU.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
